                           Our Mission Statement:

                     "REACHING ALL WITH GOD'S LOVE"

Dear Friends,

Christian worship is marked by a pattern of gathering; proclaiming and responding

to the word of God, praying for the world and the church; preparing the table,

offering thanksgiving, and sharing the meal; receiving God's blessing and departing

for service in the world.  These basic elements--present in Luke's gospel and the ongoing

life of the church--constitute the center of the church's worship. Or to say it more fully,

this center is "an open and participating community gathered on the Lord's Day in song

and prayer around the scriptures read and preached, around the baptismal washing,

enacted or remembered, around holy supper, and around the sending to a needy world."

Words for Worship, Sundays and Seasons 2010

Beginning with Moses and all the prophets,

Jesus interpreted to them the things about himself in

all the scriptures...when he was at table with them,

he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him.   Luke 24:27, 30-31

Peace and God's blessings to everyone!
